Friends of Gabon is the affiliate organization of the National Peace Corps Association for volunteers who served in Gabon. Its principal purpose is to facilitate communication, build comradery and create a spirit of community among Returned Peace Corps Volunteers (RPCVs) who served in Gabon.
Encore de la Paix, founded in 2014, serves as the project arm for Friends of Gabon to design, organize and carry out activities in Gabon. Encore de la Paix has completed five years of projoects in Gabon, renovating schools, installing world map murals, distributing mosquito nets and providing emergency supplies during the COVID pandemic.
